one side of triangle= 24cm

second side of a triangle= 10cm

perimeter of a triangle is 60cm

perimeter of a triangle= one side of a triangle+second side of a triangle+third side of a triangle

60=24+10+third side of a triangle

60= 34+third side of a triangle

60-34= third side of a triangle

third side of a triangle= 26cm

now, we check that whether it is a right triangle

( hypotenuse )^2= (base)^2+(height)^2

let 26cm be hypotenuse , base be 10 cm and height be 24cm

676=100 + 576

676=676

hence, the following triangle is right triangle

area of right triangle= 1/2×base×height

= 1/2× 10×24

= 120cm^2

thankyou

Answer:

120 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let one side be= 24cm

let second side be=10cm

perimeter= 60 cm

third side=?

Perimeter= 1st side+ Second side+X

x is third side

60= 24+10+x

60=34+x

x=26 cm

So, the third side be 26cm

area of triangle. = 1/2×b×h

Let 10cm be base and 24 cm be height

=1/2×10×24

=120cm^2
