find the area of a triangle whose base=2m ,height = 1.5 m base =3 .4 m and height = 90 cm

Solution :

We know that,

Let b , h are base and corresponding

height of a triangle ,

Area of the triangle ( A ) = ( bh )/2

Here ,

i ) b = 2 m , h = 1.5 m

A = ( 2 × 1.5 )/2

=> A = 1.5 m²

ii ) b = 3.4 m

=> b = 3.4 × 100 cm = 340 cm

h = 90 cm

A = ( 340 × 90 )/2

= 340 × 45

= 15300 cm²
