 \sqrt{s (s-a) (s-b) (s-c)}

 s = \frac{a+b+c}{2}

 s = \frac{12+18+20(cm)}{2}

 s = \frac{50(cm)}{2}

 s = 25cm

 \sqrt{25 (25-12) (25-18) (25-20)}

 \sqrt{25 (13) (7) (5)}

 \sqrt{5×5×13×7×5}

 5 \sqrt{13×7×5}

 5 \sqrt {455}
