Answer:

it's a right angled triangle

here

 {h }^{2}  =  {p}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}

 {40}^{2}  =  {24}^{2}  +  {32}^{2}

Area = 1/2×p×b

=1/2×24×32

=12×32

=384 Sq. cm.
