Using herons formula :-
= a+b+c ÷ 2
= 8 + 15 + 17 ÷ 2
= 40 ÷ 2
= 20

•Area of triangle by herons formula :-
= √s(s-a) × (s-b) × (s-c)
= √20(20-8) × (20-15) × (20-17)
= √20 × 12 × 5 × 3
= √2^4 × 3² × 5²
= √2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 5 × 5
= 2 × 2 × 3 × 5
= 60
