Area of quadrilateral= (½) × diagonal length × sum of the length of the perpendiculars drawn from the remaining two vertices.

Area of the quadrilateral

=(1/2)×d×(a+b)

=(1/2)×8×(9+9)

=(1/2)×8×18

=4×18

=72cm.sq
