  • Diagonal = 6 cm

  • Perpendicular ( p₁ ) = 3 cm

  • Perpendicular ( p₂ ) = 5 cm

To FinD :-

  • Area of the figure

\longrightarrow \boxed{ \bf Area =  \frac{1}{2}(p_1 + p_1) d}\\  \\\longrightarrow \sf Area = \frac{1}{2} \times  (3 + 5)6 \\  \\\longrightarrow \sf Area =8 \times 3\\  \\\longrightarrow \sf Area =24 \:  {cm}^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

area of triangle=1/2base ×height

=1/2×6x3

=3x3

=9-(1)

=1/2x6x5

=3x5

=15-(2)

from (1)and (2) we obtain that

the area of quadrilateral will be

(1)+(2)

=9+15

=24cm
