So,

By Pythagoras theorem,

H² = L² + B²

⇒ 13² = 5² + B²

⇒ 169 = 25 + B²

⇒ B = 12

Hence, the another side = 12 cm.

Now,

Area of triangle = (1/2) * B * H

                          = (1/2) * 5 * 12

                          = 30 cm²
