Step-by-step explanation:

Area of equilateral triangle=

 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {a}^{2}

where a is the side of the triangle

 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times  {6}^{2}

 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times 36

 \sqrt{3}  \times 9

hence area of triangle is 9√3 cm²
