Find the area of an equilateral triangle with side 8 cm

Given side =8 cm

we know that

 \bf area  \: of \:  an  \: equilateral \:  triangle =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {(side)}^{2}

 \bf  =  \frac{  \sqrt{3} }{4}  {(8)}^{2}

 \bf  =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} (64)

 \bf  = 16 \sqrt{3}

∴ are of an equilateral triangle =27.712 cm^2
