Given ,

  • Side of triangle = 2cm
  • Type of triangle = Equilateral triangle

We need to find ,

  • Area of Equilateral triangle = ?

As we know that

Area of Equilateral triangle = 3/4

Where , a is the side of

Substituting a = 12 cm

√3/4 ( 12 )²

→ √3/4 ( 12 ) ( 12 )

→ √3 (3) ( 12)

→ 36√3 cm²

Hence , area of Equilateral triangle whose side is 12 cm is 363 cm²

To Find : area of   equilateral triangle

Solution:

an equilateral triangle - Triangle with all Equal sides :

Area  an equilateral triangle = (√3 / 4) side²

side = 12 cm

Area  an equilateral triangle = (√3 / 4) 12²

= 36√3 cm²

= 36 * 1.732

=  62.352 cm²
