Given :-

Side = 8cm

Area of equilateral triangle =

 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} {(side)}^{2}

 =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {(8)}^{2}

 =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} 64

 = 16 \sqrt{3}  {cm}^{2}

Hence the area of equilateral triangle is 16√3 cm²
