The area of na equilateral triangle is given by √3 /4 a²

In this case, a is 12 cm

Area =√3/4×(12)²

=36√3 cm²

Area =1/2× base×height

= 1/2 ×12× height

1/2 ×12 × height =36√3

Height =6√3

Step-by-step explanation:

area of equ. triangle =

 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4 }  \times   {side}^{2}

  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}    \times {12}^{2}

 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times 144

=

36 \sqrt{3}
