Given :

  • Side of Equilateral Triangle is 4 cm .

To Find :

  • Area of Equilateral Triangle .

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Side(a)=4\:cm}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Area\:of\:Equilateral\:\triangle=\dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{4}{a}^{2}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{\dfrac{\sqrt{3}}{{\not{4}}}\times{{\not{4}}}\times{4}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{4\sqrt{3}\:{cm}^{2}}

So , The Area of Equilateral Triangle is 43 cm² ..

A triangle is a simple closed curve figure made of three line segments. It has three vertices , three sides and three angles .

Classification of Triangles based on Sides :

  • A triangle having three unequal sides is called as Scalene Triangle.
  • A triangle having two equal sides is called as Isosceles Triangle .
  • A triangle having three equal sides is called as Equilateral Triangle .

Classification of Triangles based on Angles :

  • If angle is less than 90 degree than the triangle is known as Acute Angled Triangle.
  • If an angle is of 90 degree then the triangle is known as Right Angled Triangle .
  • If the angle is greater than 90 degree than the triangle is known as Obtuse Angled Triangle .
