where a is the side of the triangle

 \implies \: area =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} \:  p}{4}  \:  {cm}^{2}

area \: of \: an \: equilateral \: triangle =  \sqrt[]{3}  \frac{ {side}^{2}  }{4}

Therefore the area is :

 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {p}^{2}
