if hypotenuse is 10

area=base × height /2

=10×10/2 = 50cm

if hypotenuse is 10

then by Pythagoras theorem third side of triangle will be 2✓5 cm

area = base×height / 2 = 10×2✓5 / 2 = 20✓5 / 2 = 10✓5 cm
