Find the area of an isosceles right angled triangle whose each side conting the right angle is 8.4cm base 8.4 and hight 8 cm

● Explaination -

In given traingle which is isosceles right angled triangle, base and height will be same. i.e. 8.4 cm.

Area of right angled triangle is -

Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height

Area of triangle = 1/2 × 8.4 × 8.4

Area of triangle = 35.28 sq.m

Hence, area of given triangle is 35.28 sq.m.

GIVEN:-

BASE = 8.4 cm

HEIGHT = 8 cm

SIDE = 8.4 cm

AREA = ?

AS WE KNOW THAT -

AREA OF TRIANGLE = ½ × Length × Hieght

According to question -

= ½ × 8.4 × 8.4

= ½ × 70.56

= 70.56/2

= 35.28

==> 35.28 cm.sq
