\huge\underline\green{\tt Solution:}

→ Area of triangle

 = \dfrac{1}{2}\times base\times height

 =\dfrac{1}{2}\times {5}\times{5}

 =\dfrac{1}{2}\times 25

 = \dfrac{25}{2}

∴ Area =  12.5\: cm^2

Given that :-

\starbase = 5cm

\starheight = 5cm

Then according to questions:-

using formula:

\huge\boxed{\orange{ Area \:of \:triangle \: = \frac{1}{2} × base × height }}

Area \: of \: a \: triangle = \frac{1}{2} × 5cm × 5cm \\ \\ Area \: of \:a \: triangle = \frac{25{cm}^{2}}{2} \\ \\ Area\: of\: triangle\: = 12.5{cm}^{2}
