area of an right angled triangle is 1/2×b×h

(b= base and h= height)

so given base = height =40 cm

so area = 1/2×40×40

= 800 cm ^2

thanks

An isosceles right triangle whose equal sides  are 40 cm each.

∴The  base will be= 40 cm

The height will be = 40cm

We know the formula of the area of an right angled triangle = \frac{1}{2} ×b×h

(b= base =40cm

and h= height= 40cm)

so area = \frac{1}{2}×40×40

= 800 cm²

∴ The area of an isosceles right triangle of equal sides 40 cm each will be 800 cm²

Ans:- The area of an isosceles right triangle of equal sides 40 cm each will be 800 cm².
