here we can take the equal sides as the base and the hypotenuse(as we cannot take these equal sides as hypotenuse as hypotenuse is the longest side in a right traingle)

so are of triangle=1/2*base*height

so, base=height = 10cm

so, area

=>1/2×10×10

=>1/2×100

=>50cm^2
