hey friend,

Area of triangle = 1/2(b×h)
= 1/2(2×4)cm²
= 1/2 × 8 cm²
= 4cm²

Therefore the area of isosceles triangle is 4cm².

Hope it works....

see.. the area of the isosceles triangle is 1/2 ( B ×H) and the area of equadliteral triangle is root 3/ 4 ×area^2 ...

so the isosceles triangle area is 1/2 ( 2 × 4 ) that is

1/2 (8)
that is

1 × 4
4 cm^2
