find the area of an isosceles triangle whose equal sides measures 5 cm each and height corresponding to the third side is 4 cm ​

First take cons- perpendicular on third side whos length is 4 cm.After perpendicular line will divide third side into 2 equal parts 2 cm and 2 cm .Also it will form two right triangle ,so take out area of both right triangle and add it. Area of each right triangle will be √21.Then by adding,area of whole triangle will be √21+√21=2√21
