Answer:

perimeter of isosceles triangle is 30

sum of all sides=30

12+12+x=30

x=30-24

x=6

And then you find area

Given that : Base of Isosceles triangle = 12cm

and Perimeter = 30cm

Then, Area of Isosceles triangle :

 \frac{1}{4} </strong><strong>B</strong><strong> \sqrt{</strong><strong>P</strong><strong>(</strong><strong>P</strong><strong> - 2b)}  \\  \\  =  &gt;  \frac{1}{4}  \times 12 \sqrt{30(30 - 2 \times 12)} \\  \\  \\  =  &gt; 3 \sqrt{30  (30 - 24)}  \\  \\  =  &gt; 3 \sqrt{30 \times 6}  \\  \\  =  &gt; 3 \times 6 \sqrt{5}  \\  \\  =  &gt; 18 \times 2.236 = 40.248

So, the area of Isosceles triangle will be 40.249(approx).
