GIVEN

Base = 12cm

Perimeter = 32 cm

SOLUTION

Sum of other 2 Sides = 32-12 = 20

Equal sides = 20/2 = 10cm each

Sides of this triangle 12, 10, 10

Semi perimeter = (12+10+10)/2 = 32/2=l6

Area = √[s (s-a)(s-b)(s-c)]

= √[16 (16-12) (16-10) (16-10)]

= √[16x4x6x6]

= 48 cm²
