As two sides of isosceles are equal
Side=(36-16)/2=20/2=10
Semi perineter=36/2=18
By heron formula,
√{s(s-a) (s-b) (s-c)}
√{18(18-16)(18-10)(18-10)}
√{18*2*8*8}
√{2304}
=48cm²
