It's area can be calculated by using heron's formulla.
√{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}
s = 16/2 = 8
a = 6. b = 5 and c = 5
itz area = √{ 8 ( 2) ( 3 ) ( 3 )}
itz area = √{ 144}
so, itz area = 12cm²
