IN A ISOSCELES TRIANGLE

THE AREA ACCORDING TO MY FORMULA=1/4×B√{(2A)²-(B)²}

WHERE A IS EQUAL SIDES AND B IS UN EQUAL SIDE

AREA = 1/4×8√{(10)²-(8)²}

          =1/4×8×√36

           =1/4×8×6

          = 12 CM²

The two equal sides are 5 cm each. The unequal side is 8 cm. Now a perpendicular is dropped from the angle between the equal sides on the unequal side.
