diary, eternal must be the diagonal of the square..
So diameter is
 \sqrt{2} a
 =6  \sqrt{2}
therefore radius is 1/2 of diameter
r = 3 \sqrt{2}
area of circle
 = \pi {r}^{2}

 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  3 \sqrt{2 }  \times 3 \sqrt{2}
\frac{396}{7}
 = 56.57 {cm}^{2}  \:  {approx.}
