Find the area of circle in which the
circumference=62.8cm.​

Solution:

Given:

Circumference of Circle, 62.8cm

Since,

Circumference of Circle=2πr

Therefore,

2*22/7*r = 62.8 cm

=>2*3.14*r = 62.8 cm

=>2*r = 62.8/3.14 cm

=>2*r = 20cm

=> r = 20/2=10cm

Thus, radius of given Circle is 10 cm.

We know that:

Area of Circle= π*r*r

So, the area of given circle=

22/7*10cm*10cm

=> 3.14*10cm*10cm

=> 314cm²

Ans: Hence the area of given circle of circumference 62.8 cm is 314cm².
