Here, in this question we have given the circumference of the circle to be 5.28m and we have to find the area of circle. So, inorder to find area we have to first find the radius of the given circle.

\rule{250}{2}

So let's find the radius first!

\underline{\boxed{\sf{Circumference\: of \:circle=2\pi r}}}\star

\sf{5.28m=2\times\dfrac{22}{7}\times r}

\sf{5.28m\times \dfrac{7}{2\times22}= r}

\sf{\cancel{5.28m\times \dfrac{7}{2\times22}}= r}

\underline{\boxed{\sf{8.4m=r}}}\star

\rule{250}{2}

Now, we have to find area.

\underline{\boxed{\sf{Area\: of \:circle=\pi r^{2}}}}\star

\sf{Area\:of\:circle=\dfrac{22}{7}\times8.4\times8.4m^{2}}

\sf{Area\:of\:circle=\cancel{\dfrac{22}{7}\times8.4\times8.4m^{2}}}

\sf{Area\:of\:circle=221.76m^{2}}

∴The required area of circle is 221.76m².

Given :-

  • Shape = Circle
  • Circumference of Circle = 5.28m

 \\  \\

To Find :-

  • The Area of the Circle

 \\  \\

Solution :-

➞ Circumference of Circle = 2πr

➞ 5.28 = 2 × 22/7 × Radius

➞ 5.28 ÷ 2 = 22/7 × Radius

➞ 2.64 = 22/7 × Radius

➞ 2.64 × 7 ÷ 22 = Radius

➞ 18.48 ÷ 22 = Radius

0.84m = Radius

Therefore, Radius of the Circle is 0.84m

________________

➞ Area of Circle = πr²

➞ Area of Circle = 22/7 × (0.84)²

➞ Area of Circle = 22/7 × 0.84 × 0.84

➞ Area of Circle = 22 × 0.7056 /7

➞ Area of Circle = 15.5232/7

➞ Area of Circle = 2.21m²

Therefore, Area of the Circle is 2.21m²
