Solution-

Let the radius be x

Circumference equal to 88cm

Circumference of circle=2πr

=88cm =2*22/7*x

88*7 =44x. (cross multiply)

88/44*7. =X

2*7. =X

14cm. =Radius

here is ur answer:

square

side = 88 cm

ATQ,

circumference = perimeter of the square

2 π r = 4 × side

2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times r = 4 \times 88 \\  \\  2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times r = 352 \\  \\  \frac{22}{7}  \times r =  \frac{352}{2}  \\  \\ \frac{22}{7}  \times r =176 \\  \\ r  =  \frac{176 \times 7}{22}  \\  \\ r = 8 \times 7 \\  \\ r = 56cm \\  \\

now,

area \:  of \:  circle =\pi {r}^{2}  \\  \\ area \:  of \:  circle = \frac{22}{7}  \times 56 \times 56 \\  \\ area \:  of \:  circle = 22 \times 8 \times 56 \\  \\ area \:  of \:  circle =176 \times 56 \\  \\ area \:  of \:  circle =9856 {cm}^{2}  \\  \\

hope it helps you!
