Given :-

➝ Radius of cylinder = 16 cm

➝ Height of cylinder = 38 cm

To Find :-

➝ Curved Surface Area

Solution :-

➝ As we know that

Curved Surface Area of Cylinder = 2πrh

➝ Let's solve by substituting the values :-

\rm \rightarrow 2\pi rh

\rm \rightarrow 2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times 16\;cm \times 38\;cm

\rm \rightarrow 5428.67 \;cm

➝ ATQ we need to find CSA in meter

\rm \rightarrow 1\;cm = \dfrac{1}{100} \;m

\rm \rightarrow 5428.67\;cm = \dfrac{5428.67}{100}\;m

\rm \rightarrow 54.2867\;m

Given:-

  • Radius of the cylinder is 16cm

  • Length of the cylinder is 28cm.

To Find:-

  • Find the Curved Surface Area of the cylinder.

Concept:-

  • Let's go through the concept. Concept used here is Curved Surface Area(CSA) of a Cylinder.Substitute the values in the equation and solve it.Let's do it.

Formulae Applied:-

  • Curved Surface Area(CSA) of a Cylinder = 2πrh

Solution:-

Given that!

Radius of the cylinder = 16cm

Length of the cylinder = 38cm

According to the question we have!

Curved Surface Area(CSA) of a Cylinder = 2πrh

⟹ 2πrh

⟹ 2 × 22/7 × 16 × 38

⟹ 44/7 × 16 × 38

⟹ 3821.71

⟹ 3821.71cm

Hence,

The Curved Surface Area of the cylinder is 3821.71cm^2.

Area Converting to metre(s)

⟹ 1cm = 1/100m

⟹ 3821.71cm = 3821.71/100

⟹ 38.21

⟹ 38.21m

Hence,

The Curved Surface Area in metre(s) is 38.21m^2.
