Answer:

(a)55.44 cm²

(b)132.665 cm²

(c)452.389 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

(a) r = 4.2 cm

∴the area of the circle is = πr² = (22/7)×4.2×4.2 cm²

                                                  =  22×0.6×4.2 cm²

                                                  =  55.44 cm²

(b) D = 13 cm

 ∴r = D/2 = 13/2 cm = 6.5 cm

∴the area of the circle is = πr² = (3.14×6.5×6.5) cm²

                                                  =  132.665 cm²

(c) D = 24 cm

∴ r = 24/2 cm = 12 cm

∴the area of the circle is = πr² = (3.14×12×12) cm²

                                                  = 452.389 cm²
