Solution :-

Let consider the first triangle ABC , Which is right angled triangle.

Therefore,

AB ( Height of the triangle) = 4.5 cm

BC ( Base of the triangle) = 7.8cm

As we know that,

Area of triangle = 1/2 * Base * Height

Area of triangle = 1/2 * 7.8 * 4.5

Area of triangle = 3.9 * 4.5

Area of triangle = 17.55 cm^2

Now,

In Second triangle ,

Height = 5.2mm

Base = 8.4mm

As we know that,

Area of triangle = 1/2 * Base * Height

Area of triangle = 1/2 * 8.4 * 5.2

Area of triangle = 4.2 * 5.2

Area of triangle = 21.84mm^2 .

Question :-

Find the area of each of the triangles .

Solution :-

Let consider the first triangle ABC , Which is right angled triangle.

Therefore,

In first triangle ,

AB ( Height of the triangle) = 4.5 cm

BC ( Base of the triangle) = 7.8cm

As we know that,

Area of triangle = 1/2 * Base * Height

Area of triangle = 1/2 * 7.8 * 4.5

Area of triangle = 3.9 * 4.5

Area of triangle = 17.55 cm²

Now,

In Second triangle ,

Height = 5.2mm

Base = 8.4mm

As we know that,

Area of triangle = 1/2 * Base * Height

Area of triangle = 1/2 * 8.4 * 5.2

Area of triangle = 4.2 * 5.2

Area of triangle = 21.84mm²
