area of enclosed figure= area of rectangle +area of trapezium
=l×b + 1/2×h×(a+b)
=20×10 +1/2×6×(5+10)
=200+3×15
=200+45
=245m2

Hey friend,

Here is your hint to solve this question,

When you have such figures which is not a perfect shape then you should try to figure out the different shapes by which it is made, and whose area's formula you know.
So in this case just split the figure into a rectangle and a trapezium,
The dimensions of the rectangle would be 20cm and 10 cm while the dimensions of the trapezium would be, length of parallel sides are 10 cm and 5 cm while the height is 6 cm.

Now just apply the formula for area of rectangle and trapezium separately and then at last just add both the areas to get the area of the given figure.

Hope it helps you and if you have any doubt then just feel free to ask.
I just gave you this hint so that you may solve more questions like this.
Thank you.
