\mathfrak{1st\; answer}

Given, side of the equilateral is 5cm.

We know,the formula to find the area of an equilateral triangle, which is \frac{\sqrt3}{4}\times a^2 Where, a is the side of the triangle. Putting value in the formula

\frac{\sqrt3}{4}\times 5^2\\ \\ \frac{\sqrt3}{4}\times 25\\ \\ \frac{25\sqrt3}{4}\\ \\ Putting,\ \sqrt3=1.732\ in\ the\ equation \\ \\ \frac{25\times 1.732}{4}\\ \\ \implies10.825\\ \therefore \text {the area of the equilateral triangle is} 10.825cm^2

\mathfrak{2nd\; answer}

Given,

height of the triangle=17.11

base of the triangle=13.2

We need to find the area of the triangle,

\text{Area of the triangle}=\frac{1}{2}\times base \times height

Putting values in the formula

\frac{1}{2}\times 13.2 \times 17.11\\ \\ \therefore \text{The area of this triangle is} \bold{112.926cm^2.}
