Hello friend !!!!

Here's the answer you are looking for

The formula for area of an equilateral triangle is √3a² / 4 where a is the side of the triangle.

This formula is derived from the Heron's formula.

Putting the values in the formula, we get

{√3 × (2√2)²} / 4
= √3 × 8 /4
=2√3 square units.
=3.464 square units

area of equilateral triangle is: √3/4× A²
where a is the measure of side.
in this case, a=2√2
area= √3/4×(2√2)²
=√3/4×8
=(1.73×8)÷4
=13.85÷4= 3.46
=3.46 unit square is the area of the equilateral triangle.
