Answer:

In triangle ABC

by paythagoras theorem

(AB)*=(BC)*+(AC)*

AB=root144+25=13cm

In triangle ABG

area=1/2×5.5×13=35.75sq cm

In trianglr ABC

area=1/2×5×12=30sq cm

In triangle ADC

area=1/2×12×4.5=27sq cm

area of the polynomial=27+30+35.75=92.75sqcm

Answer:

By Pythagoras them

ACsq+BCsq=ABsq

therefore AB =13

Area of given polygon=Sum of area of three triangles

=1/2*(5.5*13+5*12+12*4.5)

=1/2(71.5+60+54)

=1/2*185.5

=92.75

Hope this helps you
