Area of trapezium YXUT= 1/2(a+b)h
=(1/2)(10+12)(7)
=(1/2)(22)(7) = 77cm²
Area of trapezium SRUT= 1/2(a+b)h
=(1/2)(12+8)(5)
=(1/2)(20)(5)
=50 cm²
Area of rectangle PQRS=l*b
8*5=40cm²
Area of figure= YXUT+SRUT+PQRS
=77+50+40 cm²
=167cm²
