Answer:

In triangle ABC

area of triangle = 1/2 × base × alt

= 1/2 × 6 × 3.8

= 11.4 cm^2

In triangle ADC

area of triangle = 1/2 × base × alt

= 1/2 × 6 × 7.2

= 21.6 cm^2

combine both areas = area of ABC + area

of ADC

=(11.4+21.6)cm^2

=33 cm^2
