Question:-

Find the area of the quadrilateral PQRS

Solution:-

Split the quadrilateral into a square and isosceles triangle

We have square PTRS and triangle RTQ

Area of PTRS = side × side

=> (6.5) × (6.5)= 42.25 cm²

Area of RTQ = \frac{1}{2} bh

=>   \frac{1}{2}  \times 3 \times 6.5

=>  9.75

Total Area = 42.25 + 9.75

= 52 cm²
