HEYA MATE YOUR ANSWER IS HERE...
1. Area of quadrilateral =area of 1st triangle=1/2*base*height
= 1/2*8*3cm^2
=4*3cm^2
=12 cm^2

+area of 2nd triangle
=1/2*base*height
=1/2*8*4cm^2
=4*4cm^2
=16cm^2

So,
area of 1st triangle +area of 2nd triangle
=12cm^2 +16cm^2
=28cm^2

2. Area of quadrilateral =area of 1st triangle
=1/2*base *height
=1/2*8*10cm^2
=4*10cm^2
=40cm^2

+area of 2nd triangle
=1/2*base*height
=1/2*10*1cm^2
=5cm^2

=area of 1st triangle +area of 2nd
triangle

=40cm^2 +5cm^2
=45cm^2
