perimeter= sum of all sides
we have one side = 16
we find one more to find the area
peri = 36
we subtract 16 from36 and we get 20
triangle have three sides
one side =16
sum of other sides =20
so, we divide 20by 2 we get 10 we find all the sides so we easily find the area
formula of area is half x base x height
base =16 height=10
and =80 cm sq

Let the triangle be ΔABC,
Given AB=AC. BC=16 and AB+BC+CA=36.
AB=AC=10
The height of the Δis AD (Mid-point of BC)
AD²=AC²-DC²=10²-8²=100-64=36
AD=6
Area of triangle =1/2BaseXHeight=1/2X10X16=48cm²
