here, Area of rectangle=length X breadth
so, according to formula
(1) length X breadth = 3.9 X 1.1 = 4.29 cm^2
(2) length X breadth = 2.7 x 1.9 = 5.13 cm^2
(3) length X breadth = 78 X 9 = 702cm^2
(4) length X breadth = 5 X 2.3 = 11.5cm^2

Hope this will help you....

Answer:

Area of rectangle= lenth × breadth

*1)3.9cm × 1.1cm =4.29cm2

*2)2.7dm (decameter)×1.9cm

1 decameter=10cm, 2.7dm=27cm(2.7×10)

27×1.9=51.3cm2

*3)78mm (milimeter)× 9meter

1mm=0.1cm,. 1m=100m

(78×0.1)(9×100)

7.8×900=7020cm2

*4)5m×2.3dm

(5×100)(2.3×10)

500×23=11500cm2
