l = 8m, b = 6m  and  h = 2m.

So, the surface area of the cubical tank is

S.A.\\\\=2(lb+bh+lh)\\\\=2(8\times6+6\times2+8\times2)\\\\=2(48+12+16)\\\\=152.

Also, to cover 1 sq m, the cost of iron used = Rs. 60.

Therefore, the cost of iron used to cover 152 sq. m is given by

Rs.(152\times60)=Rs. 9120.

Thus, the required cost of iron is Rs. 9120.
