Answer:

The area of the triangle is 3√21cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of triangle = √S(S-a)(S-b)(S-c)

= √7(7-4)(7-4)(7-6)

=3√7cm²

Answer:

As we know that the two sides of isosceles triangle are equal

Then Perimeter of isosceles triangle is equal to sum of three sides

Let the third sides will be X

4cm+4cm+xcm= 14cm

8cm+xcm= 14cm

X= 6cm

Area of isosceles triangle by using herons formula

A = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c) where s = a+b+c/2

s= 4+4+6/2

s= 14/2

s=7

A = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

= √7(7-4)(7-4)(7-6)

=√7×3×3×1

Area of ∆ = 3√7
