Find the area of the circle:

Area of the circle = 2πr

Given that the radius = 4 cm

Area of the circle = 2π (4) = 176/7 cm²

Find the area of the minor sector:

Area = 30/360 x 176/7 = 44/21  cm²

Find the area of the major sector:

Area = 176/7  - 44/21 = 484/21 cm²

Answer: Minor sector = 44/21  cm², Major sector = 484/21 cm²
