  • The area of parallelogram is equal to 7.448 .

Given :-

  • Base of parallelogram = 7.6 m
  • Height of parallelogram = 98 cm

To Find :-

  • Area of parallelogram = ?

Formula used :-

  • Area of parallelogram = Base × Height .
  • 100 cm = 1 m

Solution :-

As we know that,

→ 100 cm = 1 m

→ 1 cm = (1/100) m

→ 98 cm = (1/100) × 98 = 0.98 m

So,

→ Base of parallelogram = 7.6 m

→ Height of parallelogram = 0.98 m

then,

→ Area of parallelogram = Base of parallelogram × Height of parallelogram

→ Area of parallelogram = 7.6 × 0.98

→ Area of parallelogram = 7.448 (Ans.)

Hence, area of given parallelogram is equal to 7.448 m² .
