\large\sf\underline{Given\::}

  • Base of parallelogram = 60cm

  • Corresponding altitude = 30cm

\large\sf\underline{To\:find\::}

  • Area of the parallelogram = ?

\large\sf\underline{Understanding\:the\:question:}

In the question we are given the base of the parallelogram as 60cm and altitude or height as 30cm . We are asked to find the area of the parallelogram. So by applying the simple formula of area of parallelogram we can solve this problem. Let's begin !

\large\sf\underline{Solution\::}

We know that,

\large\fbox\orange{Area\:of\:parallelogram\:=\:b × h}

where,

  • b = base

  • h = height

Substituting the value of b and h in the formula :

\sf\:Area\:=\:60 \times 30

\large{\mathfrak\red{\implies\:Area\:=\:1800\:sq\:cm}}

here we have given base=60m

and altitude =30cm

now,apply the formula of area of parallelogram=base ×altitude

=(60×30)

=18m square
