  1. 2i+4j+6k(this side a)
  2. i+2k(this side b)

area=cross product of the lenth of the two sides

i.e. (2i+4j+6k)×(i+2k)

= 14i-10j-4k

magnitude=√(14²+10²+4²)

=17.66 square units.

now I'm taking direction from side a to b....if it's taken from b to a... magnitude obtained will be different....and I'm taking such direction because you mentioned (2i+4j-6k) first...so I considered it as a..
